Since 1973 several Churches of Christ and individuals in the states have been supporting mission work and the training of evangelists in Mexico. There have been many successes over the years. The evangelists were all trained at a school in Salamanca under the direction of Bro. Joel Najera, Sr. & Javier Najera. They accomplished a lot of good work, however due to a lack of financial support we had to close the school. We are hoping to find enough support to continue the training work at the school.

For a number of years we did not travel to Mexico, but since 2006 several different teams have traveled to Salamanca, Moroleon, Morelia and Ocampo. A five-day training work was conducted in Moroleon in November 2007 with much interest shown. We were happy to hear from Brother Roberto Lara of Moroleon that our translator on our last trip, Jose, was baptized into Christ on Sunday, February 10, 2008.  This is wonderful news. Jose worked with us as a translator in November 2007 and we have been praying that he would obey the gospel. We pray that he will grow in Christ and be a great blessing to the churches in Mexico.

Pat Manon's book translated into Spanish.

We have word from Javier Najera in Salamanca that 200 copies of Pat Manon's book on Bible Classes are printed and ready for distribution. 

Another team is making plans to travel to Mexico again later this year. This trip will also involve a training work and visiting with various brethren to encourage the work and the workers in Mexico. We will provide more information on the upcoming team when it is available.
